The Reverand Ryan Bell, pastor at West Hollywood Adventist Church and leader in LA Voice, a PICO Network affiliate and New Bottom Line coalition partner, shares why his congregation helped move millions of dollars out of Bank of America - from Interfaith Voices Radio.  

Last November, the congregations that comprise LA Voice moved over $2 million dollars and ended a collective 200 years of business with Bank of America. 

The $2 million divestment pledge was a significant addition to Move Our Money, a campaign to move $1 billion of our money out of Bank of America, Chase, and Wells Fargo and back into our communities. So far, Move Our Money has tracked over $56 million moved out of those big banks.  

In addition, The New Bottom Line and Rainforest Action Network have partnered to launch Bankrupting America, a website devoted to shining the light on how Bank of America advances the destruction of the world economy and the world environment and how community groups like LA Voice are taking action to demand a change and a New Bottom Line.
