Culture Project: Blueprint for Accountability from Culture Project on FORA.tv

From the Blueprint for Accountability:
On March 27th, 2012, Culture Project will stage and live-stream an ambitious program called Blueprint for Accountability: The Wall Street Washington Connection, hosted by The Lannan Center for Poetics and Social Practice at Georgetown University, confronting the economic crisis in the United States and provoking fresh dialogue about the role of financial and corporate powers in the political and democratic life of this country. The series will assemble some of the most important and influential voices of our time.
In light of the unprecedented crash of 2008, the flagrant conduct of Wall Street, the revolving door between Wall Street and Washington, D.C., and the unholy alliance between big business and government, accountability will be pursued in order to safeguard democracy from further demise. Culture Project’s “Blueprint for Accountability” fuses theater, film, debate, and discussion to call attention to these issues, urging policy makers, elected officials, and citizens to craft a decisive moral response, capable of restoring American democracy.
The Blueprint for Accountability is co-sponsored by The New Bottom Line.
